Follow-up labs, made simple
Your $99/month covers medication and supplies. You’ll do labs up front, again at 8–10 weeks, at 6 months, at a year, and yearly after that — each follow-up set is $150, billed automatically as a separate charge on top of your regular $99. Nothing you need to do.
Prescription & safety
Treatment is prescribed only after a licensed clinician reviews your lab results and consults with you directly. Medication is dispensed by licensed U.S. pharmacies. Individual results vary. If you have questions about whether treatment is appropriate for you, that’s exactly what the consult is for — book one and ask.

About HeroTRT
HeroTRT by BioCare Fusion is a clinician-led telehealth clinic built for Utah men. We started with a simple frustration: testosterone care was either overpriced, inconvenient, or both — opaque pricing, rushed appointments, and no clear answers about what anything actually costs.
So we built the clinic we wanted to exist: licensed clinicians, transparent pricing ($50 to start, $99 a month, $150 for follow-up labs — that’s the whole ladder), and care that’s monitored with real lab work over time, not guesswork.
We’re Utah-only, on purpose. A focused clinic can do one thing well; we do testosterone care for Utah men, start to finish.
Transparent pricing
Your first month is $50 — labs plus a free consult with a licensed clinician (normally $150 for both). After that, $99/month covers your medication, supplies, and ongoing clinician support. Follow-up lab sets are $150 each, billed separately. First responders save 20%. No contracts, no surprise fees.
FAQs
What is Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)?
TRT is a medical treatment designed to restore testosterone levels to a normal range in men who have been diagnosed with low testosterone (hypogonadism) and are experiencing symptoms.
How do I know if I need TRT?
Symptoms of low testosterone can include fatigue, low libido, erectile dysfunction, mood changes, and difficulty concentrating. Diagnosis requires a blood test to measure your testosterone levels and a consultation with a healthcare provider to discuss your symptoms and medical history. BioCare Fusion will guide you through the necessary lab work.
How often do I need to do labs?
Regular lab testing is essential for your Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) to ensure it is both safe and effective. HeroTRT facilitates these tests through our partner laboratories.
Your typical testing schedule is designed around clinical safety checkpoints:
- Initial Lab: Before you begin treatment and receive your first 10-week supply. (This fee is included in your $50 first month.)
- Follow-up Labs: A second set of labs at the 8–10 week mark, again at 6 months, then at a year, and yearly after that.
Billing Note: Each follow-up lab set is $150, billed automatically as a separate charge on top of your regular $99/month subscription.
Your clinician will always order additional labs if they determine more frequent monitoring is needed for your care.
Are there side effects to TRT?
Yes, like any medical treatment, Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) has potential side effects. These can range from common and manageable to less common but more serious risks, which is why working closely with your provider is essential.
Commonly Reported Side Effects:
Skin issues like acne or oiliness
Fluid retention or swelling (edema)
Mood swings, irritability, or anxiety
Tenderness in the chest area (gynecomastia)
Localized irritation (for gels or patches)
Less Common but More Serious Risks That Require Monitoring:
Cardiovascular: TRT can increase your red blood cell count (erythrocytosis), which can raise the risk of blood clots. It may also affect cholesterol levels and is being studied for its long-term effects on heart health.
Prostate Health: TRT can worsen symptoms of an enlarged prostate (BPH) and could potentially stimulate the growth of existing prostate cancer. It is not recommended for individuals with active prostate cancer.
Fertility: TRT suppresses your body's natural sperm production, which will lead to infertility. This is often reversible after stopping treatment, but not always.
Sleep Apnea: It can cause or worsen existing sleep apnea.
Our treatment protocol is specifically designed to manage these risks. Through regular lab work and follow-up appointments, we proactively monitor your health, track key markers (like red blood cell count and PSA levels), and adjust your treatment to ensure it remains both safe and effective. It is crucial to have an open discussion about your personal health history and these potential risks with your provider before beginning therapy.
Is HeroTRT legitimate and safe?
Absolutely. We connect you with U.S.-licensed healthcare providers who are qualified to diagnose and treat the conditions we focus on. We adhere to strict privacy and security standards (HIPAA compliant) to protect your personal health information. All medications are sourced from licensed pharmacies in the United States.
How does HeroTRT work?
It's simple!
1. Select Your Treatment: We have a lot to offer, find what works best for you.
2. Complete an Online Visit: Fill out a brief health questionnaire detailing your medical history and concerns.
3. Consult with a Provider: A U.S.-licensed healthcare provider will review your information. If appropriate, they may connect with you via secure messaging, phone, or video call for a consultation.
4. Receive Your Treatment Plan: If approved, your provider will create a personalized treatment plan.
5. Medication Delivered: If medication is prescribed, it will be shipped discreetly to your door from a licensed U.S. pharmacy.
Is HeroTRT available outside Utah?
No — we serve Utah patients only. If you’re in Utah, you’re eligible to start.
What’s included in the $50 first month?
Your lab work plus a free consult with a licensed clinician. A normal first month would cost $150 (labs + consult); the consult is on us, so you pay $50.
What happens after month one?
Your program continues at $99/month — covering your medication, supplies, follow-up clinician consults and support, with automatic shipments so you never run out. No contracts; pause or cancel anytime.
How do follow-up labs work, and what do they cost?
Your clinician schedules follow-up labs at 8–10 weeks, 6 months, 1 year, then yearly. Each follow-up lab set is $150, billed automatically as a separate charge on top of your $99/month subscription.
Do I have to visit a clinic in person?
Care is delivered by telehealth — your consults happen by private video call. For labs, you can visit a Quest Diagnostics location (we recommend Quest), or use an at-home lab draw kit — a simple finger poke and shoulder stick you do yourself.
What if treatment isn’t right for me?
Then you don’t get treatment — and you don’t pay for it. Prescription happens only after your clinician reviews your labs and talks with you directly, and only if it’s medically appropriate. If your clinician deems treatment medically inappropriate for you, your purchase is refunded in full.
Is my information private?
Yes. Your consultation is confidential and your health information is handled in compliance with HIPAA.
Do first responders get a discount?
Yes — first responders save 20%. Verify your status on our First Responder Discount page to apply it.
Ready to find out if you qualify?
Take the 60-second eligibility check. Your clinician reviews your labs and consults with you before anything is prescribed — and if treatment is deemed medically inappropriate for you, your purchase is refunded in full.
